Etymology: after the French ethno-naturalist Raymond Decary (1891-1973), colonies administrator in Madagascar, where he stayed more than 25 years.

Species with purplish and dark stems, supplied with small soft teeth. Nice bell shaped flower, pale yellow punctuated red.
